Hope you had a great weekend and did something fun! This will be a short post because it is midterm week at school. Since Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons I seem to be always found in the kitchen baking. For the 1st day of October my roommate and I made Pumpkin Doughnuts. They were a huge hit and only took 1 hour to make.

The beginning of October marks the start of eating everything pumpkin flavored. I have pumpkin cereal, ice cream and more. If it is pumpkin flavored I will buy it. To celebrate this day we made baked pumpkin doughnuts with a doughnut pan.
I found this recipe on allrecipies.com. I followed the recipe the only thing I changed was adding 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. The consistency of this dough is different from others I have previously made. It is sticky and more dough like then cake like. To fill up the pan I used a piping bag to keep them neat.
This is great to make with friends or kids. They will love dipping the doughnuts in the glaze. For me it is the best part!
I hope you try this recipe. It is linked below.

Have an amazing week!
